The organization EWH Aalborg supports engineering students who want to do humanitarian voluntary work by participating in one of their summer programs. The work mainly includes repairing hospital equipment and teaching the hospital staff to use the equipment and repair it if necessary. This is of great benefit for the African hospitals as a lot of their current equipment is not operational since it is either broken or the staff is not able to operate it. Every year one or more students are participating in this summer program thanks to donations to EWH Aalborg.
